Truce
A Truce can mean many things - shaking hands, calling a halt to hostilities, putting down arms – but at heart it is about pausing and reflecting on what is really important A core part of the Olympics and Paralympics is competing countries signing-up to a Truce during the games. The Truce Arts project, led by A New Direction and the Creative Intelligence Agency, uses this as a starting point for artists and young people to produce artwork which expresses the values of Truce in everyday life. Truce artists from Middlesex University have been creating new Truce inspired work for Bus-Tops, being exhibited at the Broadfields and Southfields installations in Barnet.
