Getting Started

The new website hosts all of the screens and provides a programme of works currently or to be exhibited. The drawing tool linked above is a simple way to get started and you can even create simple animations with it. Of course anyone can upload work created using their preferred applications or methods. High contrast black and white photography works beautifully on the screens, as does vector art, line drawings and even animations like the series that Mark Titchner has produced throughout January. Here is a handy guide to using the drawing tool.

Bus-Tops across London

Bus-Tops are now dotted around London, surprising and causing many gasps and exclamations from delighted Bus Passengers. The above is a photograph of the installation at Forest Road in Dalston. A full list of installations would you could submit work for exhibition is here.

Monthly Artist Residencies

Mark Titchner has been gracing the screens through January with a new series of works titled '31 days'. Read more about them at his page and see all of his works exhibited so far this month. Each month we will be showcasing original work from one artist or artist team

Public works exhibited from 1st February

From the 27th through to the 31st of January site programmers will be selecting the best of the public submissions to form the first run of artworks from the public to run on installations across the capital on the 1st of February. Please do spread the word to those you think might want to get their paintbrushes moving and do get in touch if you'd like to chat

Warmest regards, the Bus-Tops Team.
