London-based German Brigitte Stepputtis has a long history of parallel practices in both art and fashion. In addition to her work as a fashion designer – Brigitte has worked at Vivienne Westwood for the past eighteen years where she is Head of Couture- Stepputtis has an artistic practice that deploys film, photography, sculpture and installation. This might be understood as a natural extension of her activities as one of the lauded conceptual design collective Showroom Dummies of which she was a founding member together with Abigail Lane and Bob Pain.
