One of the core values that runs through our work on the Bus-Tops project is open-ness. Both Paula and I (Alfie) have a genetic-level-tendency to keep things as open as practically possible, and through pretty much every project we’ve done we’ve also worked with “The Public” as much possible because hey - many heads and all that.

The lovely people at Artists Taking The Lead have kindly given us the go-ahead on making our entire project plan openly accessible on the web, and we’re hopeful that some of you may be interested in the particulars of how we’re approaching the project. This was the plan that was sent along to them today. This plan will be reviewed by the selection committee who will formulate questions to pose to us at our final presentation on the 28th of September.

The plan covers all aspects of the project including overviews of the tools we will be using, the hardware, the team involved, the values behind our thinking, the phases of development we anticipate as well as risks involved and budgeting.

We hope that after reviewing the document you’d like to talk about it. We’re totally open to the idea that hey, perhaps there are better ways of doing this or that part. Perhaps sections of the document particularly resonate with you on an interest or professional level and you have something to say on them. Perhaps you feel that you can lend a hand or offer support and guidance in a particular area. In any case you get the point - we’d like to talk about it
